Strawberry Santas are fun and festive no-bake treats perfect for holiday celebrations. Fresh strawberries are sliced and filled with a sweetened cream cheese or Greek yogurt mixture, then decorated with mini chocolate chips to create adorable Santa faces. These delightful bites require minimal preparation and a short chilling time, making them an easy and impressive dessert or snack option.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries about 15–20 berries
  • 1 cup cream cheese or Greek yogurt softened
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 30–40 mini chocolate chips for eyes and nose

Equipment

  • Piping Bag

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries thoroughly. Slice each berry in half lengthwise to create a flat base and a pointed top.
  2. Make the Filling: In a bowl, whip the softened cream cheese or Greek yogurt with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Fill the Piping Bag: Transfer the whipped mixture into a piping bag fitted with a round tip for easy and neat application.
  4. Assemble the Santas: Pipe a dollop of the whipped mixture onto the flat base of each strawberry half. Then place the pointed top of the strawberry onto the whipped filling to resemble Santa’s hat.
  5. Add the Details: Use two mini chocolate chips as eyes and one mini chocolate chip as a button nose on each assembled strawberry Santa.
  6. Chill Before Serving: Place the assembled Strawberry Santas in the refrigerator and chill for at least 15 minutes to set the filling before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, use Greek yogurt in place of cream cheese.
  • If mini chocolate chips are unavailable, break regular chocolate chips into smaller pieces.
  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry after washing to help the filling adhere better.
  • Use a small round piping tip or snip the piping bag tip for the best control when filling.
  • These treats should be served cold for the best texture and taste.
